Video productions are 'an effective way' to get a message across Marketing expert says Video is a good way to catch the attention of consumers.
The use of video productions to get a brands message across to customers has been highlighted by an industry expert.
According to Niall O'Malley, group account director at PR firm Immediate Future Ltd, consumers now look to view shorter amounts of data online and so marketers need ways to capture their attention and video is a great way to do this.
"Research shows that visual is an effective way to get people a message. And it's been proved to be a commercial success see BBC iPlayer bits of content which are compelling and multimedia," he commented.
He also argued that social media is becoming a "fundamental" component to modern marketing.
"I'd say it will be a cornerstone for every marketing strategy that we devise over the next decade," said Mr O'Malley.
His comments follow the recent release of figures from Experian Hitwise that show for the week ending March 13th 2010, Facebook surpassed Google the to become the most visited website among US web users.
