An expert has given some hints and tips as to how to create a successful video marketing campaign.
Grant Crowell, writing for ReelSEO.com, interviewed Shawn Collins, the co-founder of Affiliate Summit, to discover what makes a good web video.
Mr Collins highlighted one instant mistake that some companies make.
"I've seen some companies just post their TV commercials where there are calls to action that go around to affiliates, and they expect affiliates to use these video spots," he said.
"I think video from merchants should be unique to the web."
He also noted the importance of unique videos.
"It's essential to create original content, both in video and text, in order to get and retain an audience," Mr Collins added:
Earlier this week, YouTube's head of partnerships Patrick Walker suggested that websites that wanted people to pay for content would likely have to undertake a hybrid model that would allow some parts of site to be free.
