Trivial Pursuit launches interactive video production Video allows public to compete against stars of YouTube
An interactive video production has been launched by Hasbro to promote a new version of its Trivial Pursuit board game.
The YouTube video allows users to compete in a match of the new Trivial Pursuit: Bet You Know IT game against some of the best-known YouTube stars, including Gary Brolsma - better known as Numa Numa Guy - and Harry and Charlie Davies-Carr of Charlie Bit My Finger fame.
In the game, called You vs YouTube, members of the public are given a number of questions to answer in order to earn chips. They can then use this to bet on whether or not the YouTube stars can answer their questions correctly.
"You vs. YouTube is an incredibly exciting innovation for Trivial Pursuit," said Jane Ritson-Parsons, global brand leader for Trivial Pursuit. "We hope that people will enjoy trying the new Trivial Pursuit: Bet You Know It game online by betting on their favourite YouTube stars."
The first ever edition of Trivial Pursuit was launched in 1982.
