Top viral video campaigns of 2009 announced Evian's roller-skating babies claims top spot
Industry research group Visible Measures has revealed the top ten viral video ad campaigns of the past year.
The results are based on the number of times a video is viewed online including social-media placements such as Facebook.
Evian won the prize for the most watched viral video of the year with an incredible 55 million views of its roller-skating babies advert.
The same advert was also on YouTube's recently released list of most watched videos of 2009. It was the highest placed corporate production on the list, finishing fourth overall.
Visible Measures' list revealed a diverse range of successful companies, both in terms of size and products. Other companies to make it into the top ten included T-Mobile, DC Shoes and Air New Zealand.
Commenting on the results, industry publication Advertising Age, said: "There's a bias toward stunts but also a general sense of light-heartedness.
"Not all the campaigns were humorous, per se, but they definitely instilled a sense of wonder or invoked a smile."
