Survey reveals marketers faith in online video productions Some 71 per cent of marketing professionals will be using online video over the next twelve months.
Marketers now consider online video productions to be a key component of their campaigns, a new survey has revealed.
According to the study by video advertising network Smartclip, 71 per cent of the 100 marketing professionals interviewed said they were planning on using it in campaigns over the next twelve months.
The reasons for their confidence in the medium were also disclosed.
Some 72 per cent said online video provides them with a transparent and measurable tool.
Meanwhile, 74 per cent agree that it is more effective than static banner advertising.
Sam Kayum, UK managing director of smartclip, said: "I think we still have some way to go to ensuring that the UK market is aware of all the opportunities and formats presented by online video advertising but based on these findings, the future for this medium looks bright."
Another recent study, carried out by .Fox Networks and ComScore, found that consumers exposed to video advertising were 28 percent more likely to visit a site and nearly twice as likely to enter the brand name onto a search engine.
