Starbucks online video production sets new world record Campaign sets record for most nations in an online sing along as people from 124 countries take part.
A recent online video marketing campaign by Starbucks has set a new world record for the most nations in an online sing along.
People from 124 countries across the planet took part in the event in which participants sang along to the Beatles' All You Need Is Love. Videos of the performances were streamed on the internet to a single location in London.
"We are humbled and thankful to everyone who has come together to participate in this event and make this moment possible," said Chris Bruzzo, Starbucks vice president of Brand, Content and Online. "Joining people across the globe through music evokes the sentiment of love, a message that is synonymous with this time of the year."
As part of the campaign, which is being held as part of the company's partnership with the RED charity, people are invited to upload videos of their own renditions of the song. For each video uploaded Starbucks will make a donation to the charity.
Last week the NHS released a viral campaign to warn young people of the dangers of drinking.
Shocking online videos of drunken people featuring a woman urinating in public and a man being hit by a car have been released as part of the campaign.
