Procter & Gamble to launch YouTube channel Company to use video productions to promote beauty products.
Retail giant Procter & Gamble (P&G) is to start using online video productions as part of a new marketing strategy.
According to New Media Age, the FMCG company will launch a branded YouTube channel focussing on its beauty products.
The channel will host video productions or brands such as Clairol and Oral B, reports the news provider.
A mix of celebrities and beauty experts will appear in the videos, with one showing Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly talking to a Clairol stylist and another features TV presenter Suzi Perry talking to an Oral B dentist about achieving the perfect smile.
Meanwhile, P&G has this week also announced it has entered a deal with the International Olympics Committee to become a global Olympic sponsor.
It will join the likes of Coca-Cola and McDonalds in sponsoring the London 2012 Olympics.
Other brands in the P&G portfolio include Max Factor, Fairy and Lenor.
