Online video productions 'cost-effective means' of driving marketing efforts

Online corporate video productions can not only boost a website's search engine rankings, but are also capable of doing wonders for a company's brand, one US expert has stated.

With growing numbers of businesses now looking to make use of video production services, online marketing expert Diana Ratliff has explained that, compared to simple text, video content is priceless.

Writing for the business section of the Columbia Tribune, she noted that short, informative videos used to promote products and services are becoming increasingly commonplace on the internet, and understandably so when their effectiveness is taken into account.

In particular, she noted that online video productions can serve as a "cost-effective" means of reaching a massive audience, while also allowing businesses to get to their key marketing point faster and more effectively.

"If you're not incorporating video content into your online marketing initiatives, you should seriously think about it," Ms Ratliff concluded.

Just last week, a report published by Fox Networks and ComScore advised that consumers are 28 per cent more likely to visit websites if exposed to online video content.
