Levis video production becomes latest viral hit Guy Walks Across America becomes massive YouTube hit.
A new video production from Levis has become the latest marketing effort to go viral on the web.
The video, entitled Guy Walks Across America, has already amassed over one million views on YouTube (as of July28th) despite having been released a mere eight days ago.
It appears to show a lone man walking across the entire US from Washington to San Francisco.
However, the video production was actually constructed using the time-consuming stop-motion photography technique.
The video comprises 2,770 separate still shots that have been edited together to create the appearance of motion.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Blake Heal, the video's producer, said: "The goal that we set out to accomplish was to combine stop motion and time lapse of a guy walking across America: an epic concept which we all really loved."
A number of people have walked or ran across the entire US, including Louis Michael Figueroa, who became the youngest person to do so in 1982, at the age of 16.
