Jamie Oliver chefs launch educational video production Graduates from Fifteen cookery school to provide videos for UKTV website.
UKTV has enlisted chefs from Jamie Oliver's Fifteen cooking scheme to provide educational video productions for the broadcasters Good Food website.
The chefs will demonstrate a range of cooking methods and techniques to help those learning to cook, from beginners to confident chefs.
Fifteen was launched by TV chef Oliver to give hard-to-reach youngsters the chance to learn to cook. It incorporates a training school and four restaurants in locations around the world.
Jane Mote, director of new media, lifestyle and factual at UKTV, said: "We love the work that Fifteen does and wanted to find a way to help the trainees grow their presentation skills by becoming the trainers of the nation through our website.
Fifteen's communications manager Wendy Richmond said it was great to see the chefs sharing their knowledge, as some of them have only recently graduated from the cookery school themselves.
"We are very proud of them and hope that website visitors will find the techniques helpful when they're next tackling a recipe," she said.
Since March 2002, 106 young people have started training courses at Fifteen.
