Honda launches crowd-sourced video production campaign Public asked to submit videos explaining their fantasy road trips.
Car maker Honda has started a new marketing campaign using videos sourced from the public to create an online film.
The company has asked people to post films on the campaign's website explaining the details of their fantasy road trip.
Called Live Every Litre, the project will then allow people to vote on their favourite entries with the winners getting the chance to actually take the trip using the Honda Hybrid CR-Z car.
A film of their adventure will then be made as the final part of the campaign.
Laura Price, spokesperson for Honda Motor Europe, says: "We hope to give people the opportunity to fulfil long held ambitions and experience something they can't in everyday life.
"A large portion of this campaign will be 'crowd sourced', with participants and the online community moulding the final outcome, and that is what makes it such an exciting project."
It was recently predicted by David Smith, director of operations at the Interactive Media in Retail Group (IMRG), that 90 per cent of retail sales will be 'online influenced' by 2020.
