Football Association aims to attract visitors to site with video productions Video clips of the England World Cup football team are to be shown on the FA's website.
The Football Association has launched a range of new video productions on the FA TV section of its internet site.
Clips of behind-the-scene footage of the England football team during the 2010 World Cup are to be used to attract visitors to the FA's website.
The videos will also be placed on the football body's Facebook page. An iPhone app is also being developed.
It represents the first phase of a move by the FA to overhaul its digital content offering.
Alastair Robertson, project manager at the FA, told New Media Age: "We're looking at interviews, training videos and other exclusive content related to the World Cup. And while we want to drive exclusive content, we want viewers to watch it on their own channels, such as Facebook."
It is also looking to increase the number of live games it streams, but does not have any rights to World Cup games, the news provider reports.
The FA is the world's oldest national football association having been formed in 1863.
