Fiat sets world record with online video production Man spends over four days painting car pink with nail polish.
A viral video production for car maker Fiat has set the world record for the longest online advertisement, according to the World Records Academy reports.
The four day, two hour and two minute-long video shows former semi-professional footballer David Sheath paint an entire white Fiat 500 pink using 131 bottles of nail polish.
He lived and slept in a special studio in Clapham, South London, to complete the challenge.
"I broke up with my girlfriend and thought this would be a great way to get through it," the 28-year-old said.
The stunt was a viral marketing campaign aimed at promoting the new Fiat 500 Pink, a new model available exclusively online.
Not only does the 1.2 litre car come with pink body work, it also has pink trim, centre dashboard and gear knob.
Earlier this month, American car maker GMC announced it was dropping TV advertising to concentrate exclusively on online media for the marketing campaign of its new Granite model.
