Entertainment Weekly uses video productions for Fall Preview Magazine launches YouTube channel featuring video clips relating to different TV programmes.
US magazine Entertainment Weekly is using video productions for this year's Fall TV Preview – an annual look ahead to the American TV schedule.
The magazine has teamed up with YouTube to establish a dedicated channel on the video sharing site where visitors can click on thumbnails of different TV shows to see a related video clip such as trailer, interview or a behind-the-scenes set visit.
In an article for ReelSEO.com, US SEO and internet marketing consultant Jeremy Scott applauded Entertainment Weekly's use of online video.
"It's pretty clear that Entertainment Weekly realizes the power of video content as compared to traditional print," he said.
"Words can only take you so far, and most viewers want to see compelling video footage before deciding whether or not to tune into the hot new show or buy tickets for the next big blockbuster."
It was recently announced that AOL has signed a new agreement with Google which will see it provide video content for YouTube, which is owned by the search giant.
