Co-op to use 3D video productions for new website Website aims to promote benefits of becoming a Co-operative Group member.
The Co-operative is launching a new website for its members featuring 3D video productions.
Aimed at promoting the benefits of membership of the group, the site will seek to create a community feel which represents its brand values.
It will include 3D videos as well as vox pops videos with current members.
Anne Byrom, Co-op's membership direct marketing manager, said the idea behind the site was to make it easier for those interested in joining the organisation to get information on what the plus points of membership are.
"Our website is an ideal vehicle for this," she said.
"The 3D videos help to convey the full breadth of benefits in seconds and there are plenty of opportunities to investigate all the different facets of membership."
The Co-operative Group employs 114,000 people and counts 5.5 million members. It operates a range of businesses including operations in food retail, travel, banking and funeral services.
