Cadbury uses video productions for new campaign Online and TV campaign launched for Natural Confectionery Company brand.
Confectioner Cadbury has incorporated online video productions into a new marketing campaign.
The new cross-platform initiative is aimed at promoting its Natural Confectionery Company.
Mixing TV and online, the campaign will focus on the characters of animal-shaped sweets produced under the brand.
This will be done through social media, with youngsters encouraged to make their favourite character the most popular on social sites.
Visitors to the brand's website will be able to view video productions, audio and images relating to each character that they can then post on a social networking site.
Graeme Smeaton, brand executive for candy products at Cadbury, told the news provider: "Online's role is to get people engaged and involved in the brand. The competition will encourage people to be advocates of their favourite character."
US company Kraft, which recently purchased Cadbury, announced this month that it has seen a significant rise in profits in the first quarter of the year, partly thanks to the performance of the British chocolate maker.
