Barnardo's launches online video campaign Video shows teenagers discussing views on current issues in society.
Children's charity Barnardo's is using an online video production to reveal what life is like for young people in Britain.
A short film, in which teenagers discuss their views on current issues such as poverty, crime and sex, will air online on Christmas day.
The charity is using social media to promote the film which will be shown on MySpace and YouTube.
Barnardo's said the video "will give us a highly original and intimate look at teenagers' experience in Britain. It will be irreverent and insightful, comic and tender, life affirming and brutally honest".
The film forms part of the charity's Teens' Speech campaign which has also seen online debate avenues opened up on societal issues through sites such as Facebook.
According to the campaign's website, Teens' Speech will "provide an alternative look into the future of our country by giving a voice to those destined to inherit and shape it".
Earlier this month, Barnardo's introduced another innovative marketing campaign with the unveiling of an interactive, electronic poster that thanks people when they make donations via a nearby collection point.
