Add videos to dull email marketing campaigns The addition of videos to email marketing campaigns could make sense for consumers who are bored of similar content.
Posting a short online video inside an email as part of a direct marketing campaign could be a good way of breaking up text.
That is the opinion Jordan Ayan, writing for MediaPost, who has suggested that such mediums help to introduce new ideas into established communication methods.
Writing on the website, she said: "Trying something new makes a lot of sense".
Yesterday, author Greg Jarboe explained the importance of search engine optimisation and video to ReelSEO.com.
Noting that there was a crucial need for better optimised videos, he also warned that there was a need to get rid of "lame" content.
"There's more to video marketing than just optimising video. There's community outreach, there's blog outreach, there's good content that's going to go viral not boring content," he said.
Adding keywords to videos was also suggested as a good way of making the most out of videos placed on websites.
