YouTube & Crowd-sourced Video To Premiere - Life in a Day User Driven Video to Premiere at Sundance
Director Ridley Scott asked people to film a day in their lives and submit it to them to compile the worlds first completely internet driven crowdsourced video. It is made up of amateur footage and will be released in the coming week at the Sundance Film Festival.
Submissions were first asked for through a viral YouTube video last year asking participants to send footage of themselves on a typical day. There was little more information given and besides a few teasers and trailers available now online we still know very little.
This could be a new form of collaborative video projects. We will wait and see.
