Companies that use corporate video or other online video productions have been reminded of the importance of search engine optimisation (SEO).
According to Sam Tilston, marketing director of Memorybits.co.uk, having an online presence is "vital" for a business and it is "even more vital" for that presence to be easily found.
"With search being the way users find information and products online it follows that businesses must invest in SEO," he said.
"You can have the best products, services and website in the world but if no one can find your site then your site will have no impact."
Mr Tilston added that the best way of ensuring good SEO performance was to have as many websites as possible linking to your businesses.
"For example, if you have a website selling watches, you need to have lots of high authority websites and watch-related websites linking to yours," he said.
