Expert recommends video productions for SEO Creative video content key to encouraging web users to link to a site.
Video productions can be a great way to increase a company's search engine optimisation (SEO).
That is according to online marketing expert Gary Preston, who argues well-made video content can encourage others to link to a website, one of the key criteria for achieving good search ranking.
In an article for econsultancy.com, he writes: "I've yet to speak to any serious SEO that wouldn't want a little more 'link love' to power a specific keyword position, a section of a site or a domain's overall authority."
Video productions in particular are good at this, says Mr Preston as "blog and specialist site owners love good editorial video content".
He uses the example of streaming a fashion show with interactive tools so that viewers can click on items of clothing that interest them and find out more information about the item.
