White House turns to YouTube video productions to answer oil spill questions Obama administration answers web users' questions on oil spill via YouTube.
YouTube video productions are being employed by the White House as the Obama administration attempts to answer the publics concerns over the ongoing oil spill disaster.
White House director of new media Macon Phillips said White House spokesman Robert Gibbs responded to questions submitted via the video sharing site following President Obama's Oval Office address on Tuesday (June 16th).
"Across the country, many have questions about how this disaster happened -- and what's being done to make things right. To better understand what people want to know, we are offering a way for anyone to vote on questions about the oil spill or submit their own," said Mr Phillips via a blog post on the White House website.
Obama has turned to YouTube video productions in the past, most notably during his presidential campaign.
