Video productions to drive European marketing sector Growing use of video productions is expected to boost the European advertising sector over the next few years.
The European advertising industry is set to benefit from a massive rise in the popularity of corporate video productions over the next few years, it has been predicted.
According to the latest online advertising forecast published by Forrester, marketers are set to spend a collective £860 million on video productions over the next five years alone as they look to engage with consumers.
At the same time, it is anticipated that spending on search display advertising will slowly decline over the next few years as business leaders start to see the benefits of interactive media such as video content.
Examples of the value and return on investment potential of corporate video production are also expected to make marketers widen their horizons.
Commenting, Nate Elliott, an interactive marketing analyst at Forrester explained that video marketing offers "good value" for European businesses right now.
"If you've been thinking about experimenting with the format, you can do it today for half the price you might have paid last year," he advised.
This comes just days after Kevin Yen, director of strategic partnerships at video sharing site YouTube told CNet that online video still has great potential for businesses all around the world.
