New KidsCo site highlights youth online video production market KidsCo re-launches website with added video content.
The popularity of online video productions among children has been highlighted by the launch of a revamped website by entertainment network KidsCo.
It will feature live streaming of full-length episodes of original KidsCo programmes as well as trailers to other shows.
In addition, children will be given the chance to explore a range of interactive content, such as games, downloads and competitions.
Visitors can also upload photos, drawings and jokes and share them with other users of the website.
Paul Robinson, managing director of KidsCo, said: "Today's children are going digital earlier with the majority of kids already having access to the internet at home.
"As a channel, we set out to distinguish ourselves in the television market and have redesigned the website to extend our family-friendly, educational entertainment online."
The international broadcaster will roll-out the new website incrementally by region, finishing in September this year.
According to Ofcom, children's access to the internet has increased in recent years with 84 per cent of five to 15-year-olds living in a house with an internet connection.
