Firms that engage in corporate video production could find they benefit from a strong return on investment (ROI).
eMarketer, the digital marketing research and analysis company, suggests businesses that engage in internet-based advertising could find it an effective use of the marketing budget.
Karin von Abrams, senior analyst at eMarketer, said that the online sector remained solid throughout the recession and had, if anything, actually gotten "even stronger".
She added: "The UK is a mature market for online advertising and the internet is firmly established as an accountable channel that can deliver excellent return on investment."
Ms von Abrams made her comments after the media investment management body GroupM revealed that the advertising industry may have emerged from the recession.
While internet advertising comes in a variety of forms, the use of corporate video to sell a business brand is, for some, the most up-to-date method of reaching today's modern audience.
